Bio Smart Classic Premium Edition
Although the infrared heater by Bio Smart Solutions is not one of the heavily advertised heaters out there it is definitely one of the better-made ones. I think that Bio Smart has chosen to focus more on quality rather than quantity. Their Classic Premium Edition offers an impressive list of features found on very few of the more well known infrared heaters out there.
- 4 quartz elements designed to last 30,000 hours
- Copper-ion generation panels in the heat chamber
- Dual power settings
- Scroll cage fan
- Electronic thermostat
- Delay start function
- Remote control
- Provides 800-1000 square feet of supplemental heat
- Filter-electrostatic filter
It’s hard to find reviews on the Bio Smart infrared heater, but based on their features and the research I’ve done I am inclined to say that they are in the upper echelon. They have given some attention to detail in certain areas that I think put them above many of the other brands.
The electronic thermostat allows you to set the temperature of your machine specifically, anywhere from 37-86 degrees, which allows more accuracy when running your heater. Most of the other infrared heaters out there use a cooler to warmer gauge that doesn’t give the consumer enough accuracy when setting their machine.
The heating element used in the Classic Premium Edition is another example Bio Smart Solutions commitment to quality. It is supposed to last 30,000 hours, which is longer than any other element found in the competition. That means you’ll get about six times the usage out of the heater than the leading mass produced heaters.
When it comes time to replace the elements you don’t have to worry about boxing up your machine and shipping it back to the company. They have designed it so that you can do the replacement yourself. All you have to do is order your replacement part from them and then, using a screwdriver, you can get your heater up and running from the comfort of your own home.
By adding a delay start function to the Classic Premium Edition Bio Smart definitely put themselves in the class of heaters that want to offer their customers more than just a heater. The delay start function allows you to turn your heater off and program it to come back on when you need it again. So, you can turn it off when you’re at work, which will save you even more money, and then have it come back on again right before you get home so it can start warming the area.
As you can see, the infrared heater by Bio Smart has potential to be a great, reliable source of secondary heat with all the extras, despite the lack of consumer reviews out there. If you decide to give it try, I’m sure they’d love your feedback!
